1. Purpose

BSFR surface runoff measurement is used to measure the water flow formed by rainfall or natural rivers on the surface. The system consists of a triangular weir, high-precision water level sensors, and telemetry data acquisition. The data is wirelessly transmitted to the software platform through GRABS technology. The software platform addVantage Pro has powerful data processing capabilities and can establish runoff calculation models online, allowing users to reference rainfall data, evapotranspiration data, soil moisture and other data from the same system to establish models and observe hydrological dynamics in the watershed.

2 Data transmission and system architecture

Based on the geographical environment conditions of the installation monitoring station of the project and the status of mobile communication signals in the area, we choose different RTU models to network and achieve wireless data transmission.

3.1 A760 telemetry data acquisition
